LUKUMBELE GETS A NEW SECURITY FORT: POLICE STATION LAUNCHED IN TUNDURU

The Tunduru District Commissioner, Hon. Denis Masanja, officially launched the Lukumbule Police Post, making police services more accessible to the residents of Lukumbule. This facility is located in Tunduru District, Ruvuma Region, according to the Ruvuma Regional Secretariat news.

According to the Ruvuma Regional Secretariat news, this inauguration improves the security infrastructure in the area. The new police post is expected to simplify the reporting of crimes and enhance response to incidents, thereby improving the protection of people and property.

The Ruvuma Regional Police Commander, SACP Marco Chilya, stated that the establishment of the police post resulted from cooperation among the citizens, the Tunduru District Council, and the Police Force. This collaboration highlights the importance placed on security and safety.
